Wifi extender not recognized by the camera

Hi, I use a Mac Time Machine as router and the cameras work fine with it, however for distant places at home the cameras does not recognize the Mac Airport Express which I use as wifi extender. Does anyone coul help me? Thanks!!!

Wireless or Q cameras?  The wireless cameras won't use the extender at all - the communication is only between the camera and base.  You can use the extender (if it has an Ethernet port) to reposition the base for a decent signal to all cameras.

 

If you use the Q cameras, any WiFi signal you choose should work, including the extender.
