Why is my VMB5000 taking FOREVER to find updates?

Holy criminy!  It's been 15 minutes and YES the blue light is on on the hub.  I don't want to stop it because of the sensitivity of anything Arlo and I'd be afraid of screwing something up.  How do I survive this?

Not sure what you're trying to do. Is this a new installation or updating an existing one? Generally, after ~10 minutes of nothing happening a reboot is fine. The LED would be altgernating blue/amber if firmware was actually updating.
