When I try the update it says "installed" and does nothing

I have the software on my G5 phone, and it says I need an update.  When I try the update it says "installed" and does nothing. What is wrong?

Uninstall the app, power button reboot the phone and then re-install

Test again. if still NG, put in a trouble ticket to Support.
