What type of signal frequency does Arlo's base use?

Is it 2.4g,  5g or its own thing?  Just want to know if its going to interfere with other stuff in the house or have the signal degrade if its by other electronics.

Arlo base uses only regular wifi at 2.4ghz... one of the normal assigned channels. If place near you home wifi it will pick the same channel.  I have not seen any problems with my base about 8 ft from my normal wifi.

And yes interference is always possible.

 

( the Q cam operates on 2.4 and or 5ghz if your system has it )
