What are the settings for optimal battery life?

Please advise the mode setting that the batteries can be used for months.

As I need to change the batteries every 5 days, please help!

Couple of things:

1) Investigate Internet pricing for the batteries.  Usually tons cheaper than local.

2) Battery life depends on various things.  Assuming everything is normal (not always a good assumption), the spec is for 4-6 months with 5 minutes of recording and live viewing per day.  What's your usage? Also, signal strength can be weakened by walls, wiring, ductwork,distance, etc. that can cause the cameras to struggle to maintain a connection to the base, leading to excessive battery discharge.  Wireless interference from other WiFi and non-WiFi devices can interfere with the signal from the cameras leading to the same connection issue.  

Is this on one or more cameras? If only one, swap cameras around to see if the issue remains with the camera or the position. What is the WiFi signal percentage shown in Settings, My Devices, your cameras?
