What are the differences between the Arlo cameras VMC4030 and VMC3030 and are they compatible with each other? I currently have the Arlo Pro single camera system and want to add additional cameras.

The 4030 set is a PRO version

The 3030 set is Arlo version

If you have a Pro system already, then you know what it is,

Pro has audio, the Arlo doesn't and Arlo takes 123/16340 batteries and the PRo a batterypack,... PIR has been improved on the PRO.

Thanks! Are they compatible with each other? Can I use each model in my system together with the Pro base station?

Yes.  You just lose the extra features when mixing and matching. That is, there's no audio on the original wireless cameras, regardless of use of a Pro base.  The hardware differences between cameras also counts (different PIR and likely sensor differences.
