What Is the Video Interval Timing After recording?

What is the time of delay between motion detections? My door cam saw me pull in the drive but not me walking in the door.

Recorded 10 sec then did not detect motion when I walked up to the door.

It takes ~10 seconds (+/-) to reset. Increasing the recording length could help.
