Video shows a strobing flash effect numerous times when it is dark and night vision is on

When recording when it is dark and night vision is on, the video shows a strobing flash effect numerous times on the video.  Any way to avoid this so you can get a clearer picture?

I recently saw some strobing like I think you're referring to but I don't know if that's the camera or a varying light source that's impacting the autoexposure of the camera. I don't normally see this so I suspect it's not the camera.
