How do I change the amount of time the video recording goes when motion is detected?

Check the FAQs here. The direct are very good. Basically, you have to edit your modes. Use the Mode tab and select your base. Use the pencil or > icon to the right of the mode (Armed by default). All settings are in there. Be sure to save.
