VMS3330 cant connect device

Hi, we have a VMS3330 bought 3 years ago, have not used it for over 2 years, having trouble getting it to work. initially started off good, but now saying device off line, have removed my device (base station) turned everything off and restarted. Now I am trying to reinstall the base station, and my app on my phone is 'discovering your device. Please wait.' for ages, cant seem to find it?? What do I do now??
