VMS3130 will not sync (brand new)

Just purchased Arlo wireless single-camera with base station.

Trying to test if it works. Have tried to sync camera to base 3 times. Each time the camera blinks a slow blue for a little while and them a rapid orange, signifying a failure to sync.

What next?

Press the base sync button briefly, don't hold it.

I am having the same issue.. called tech support and they do not know what the problems.. It appear that netgear are have issue with the equipment and no one know what the problems.. they are selling us some bad equipment...

When I had trouble with my base station and contacted tech support, Level 1 could not fix issue but the elevated issue to Level 2 who took care of me.  Therefore I find it hard to accept that tech support simply told you that they don't know what the problem is and left it at that.

@manfredz, while it may not be pertinent here, what was the fix from level 2?

after extensive checking including using teamviewer to remore into my computer and through it to my modem/router, they concluded by base station was defective, created an MRA and sent a preplacenent.  All been worling fine for the 2 months since.

Although I felt it redundant what Level 1 did, since it was all stuff I tried, the level 2 folks were much more extensive in ruling out issues with my networ or modem/router settings and concluded it was then the base station.
