VMC3030 camera ceased working when batteries were changed.

Camera ceased working when batteries were changed.  I've replaced the batteries several times and camera won't turn on at all,

Do you get a blue LED when closing the battery door? If not, check the springs and contacts in the camera for anything that might block contact. Is it possible you haven't inserted them with the proper polarity? Are you sure you're using the correct batteries? They should be CR123A and 3.0v. What brand and model? Do you have a link to them?

Also, don't push them down when inserting. Let the battery door do the pushing.
