VMC3030 Won't Sync My 5th Camera

When trying to sync my 5th Arlo VMC3030 camera to my Arlo VMB 3500 base station system, the blue lights don't light on the camera nor does the camera sync. All 4 of the cameras that came with the system had no trouble syncing. The 5th camera was an add-on to the package sale. What could be the problem? Although the system is said to support 5 cameras, could it require an upgraded paid subscription?

Open the battery door, pull out each of the four batteries slightly and then close the battery door allowing it to properly seat the batteries. Then try and sync again. Short press of the sync button on the base and then press the sync button on the camera for a second or 2.

After multiple tries, still couldn't get 5th camera to sync despite your gracious suggestion. Gave up.. Returned 5th camera.
