VMC 3030 camera: latch on cover fell out; how to reinsert? Has ground wire connected.

The small, plastic piece which serves as a "lock" on the cover fell out of one of my VMC 3030 cameras.

That piece has a toggle-type ground wire connected to it.

Cannot figure out how to reinsert this piece, so that the cover closes properly and establishes contact with the four batteries.

Thanks for any advice on this.
