I've a VMB5000r4 base station with SD card installed and three Arlo cameras. Having given up on Geofencing using the Arlo app (regular failures or instances of it burning through my phone battery), I've used Samsung SmartThings integration instead.

My Arlo is all now integrated, the rules configured, SmartThings mode is showing for my Arlo cameras, but my Arlo hub is now only recording to the local SD card. I still have an Arlo subscription and have confirmed all three cameras are showing against that, but it just doesn't upload anything to the cloud. Tried the obvious of restarting, setting things up from scratch again etc.

Ideas?

Since you mention a VMB5000 hub, that implies you're using Ultra cameras. Any camera newer than the Pro 2, starting with the Ultra, require a subscription for cloud recordings once your trial runs out.

Nope, I am using the basic Arlo cameras, I just have the next level up of hub. Also, as per my original post - "I still have an Arlo subscription and have confirmed all three cameras are showing against that"

Not a trial, but a paid subscription to Arlo Smart Premier.

And in case there are any more questions about the subscription, this only started recording locally AFTER I configured the integration with SmartThings. When it's configured just to use the Arlo internally defined profiles & modes then it records locally and to the cloud.
