Hi,
I have the arlo wireless sytem. my device say HW version is VMB3010r2.
I seen a few articles saying I can plug in a USB storage for back up. it should be under the settings>arlo base> section, and I should see a local storage option.
However, in my device, I don't see any option on local storage.

Local storage is an option ONLY on the PRO BASE, not the regular Arlo base

That's amazing. NETGEAR's arlo can't even be backed up on NETGEAR NAS. But they 'conveniently' back it up to their own storage, which is not an only a security risk but incredibly creepy and not at all convenient or cost effective. This is all based around extorting more money from you with a higher price option or paying for more of their overpriced storage. God forbid you want to download a video, you get the pleasure of doing it from their servers.
