VMB3000 - App can't locate the device

Found this system in a closet - brand new (never used).  Tried connecting it to my Arlo account, but it says that no Arlo devices can be located.  I can see the base station in my router, but it isn't detectable by the app.  I have a green power light and a solid green internet light.  I have done a factory reset multiple times, but device still not found.  

 

No other devices connected to my account as I created it today.

Is the phone connected to your wifi network?

 

One thing you try is onboarding the base with a PC (browse to my.arlo.com).

Try factory resetting your base station and then attempt onboarding again. Follow the instructions listed here: https://kb.arlo.com/1057976/How-can-I-reset-my-Arlo-SmartHub-or-base-station-to-the-default-values
