Can the base station range be increased by using a Netgear power line range extender?

Thx. I want to use it to extend range from Arlo camera to base station. Just like using one to extend range of a smartphone to a wifi router. I am using a Netgear powerline extender to have base station distance away from wifi router. Can't figure out how to access base station set up.

The extender will NOT work with an Arlo camera as a separate device... the camera will link only tothe Arlo base. There is NO access into the base

The way an extender will work with Arlo is to allow the base ( if the extender has an ethernet port ) to be move to a more central location for your cameras to get a better signal.

OR you can use an extender with a second base to cover a larger camera area
