Sync button not working or camera is broken

Hi all 

 

Read the forum here and followed up the knowledgebase, put 3 times new bought batteries, without succes. 

 

What works: 

- Base station 

- First +-2 year old Arlo camera 

 

What stopped working: 

- Second +-1 year old Arlo camera - VMC3030-100EUS

 

What is happening: 

- moved the camera nearby the basestation 

- put new batteries in one year old Arlo camera - VMC3030-100EUS

- BLUE LED blinks one time

- pushed the sync button at the base station

- GREEN camera LED at the base station blinks

- pushed the sync button at the camera

- nothing happens, no LED lighting at all 

 

Already tested: 

- different new batteries and more new batteries

- the exact steps giving in the Arlo app

- knowledgebase

- solutions on this forum

- different time lentghs of pushing the sync buttons

 

No camera LED and no camera syncing at all. 

 

Is my camera broken or is the sync button broken? 

How to test and/or reset camera before sending it back like broken? 

 

Thanks for help, i am out of ideas and solutions.

Sounds like you've done it all. You may be able to wiggle the camera sync button to see if a contact can be made but if not, open a case with support here or swap the system at the store.

Wow, the shop where i bought this Arlo cam is faster then Arlo, two days and i have a complete new working Arlo Cam. 

So, it was really broken.
