Ok my parents have 3 arlo pro 4s, all are inside the house. They are mostly used to keep an eye on the dog when they are gone. But since awhile back when Arlo changed the plans they can not record unless they paid for a costly plan. They didnt do that, and now all the cams do is let us look in on things.
One is near a window facing outside (from inside) to check the weather and things. Like to make sure the guy who they pay to mow or take care of snow showed up. However at night the night vision bounces off the window and the wood window frame. So it blinds the camera and we can not see outside. I have looked and can not find a way to shut off the night vision light just dim it. Do I need a plan to contol that function?

A plan won't help. When it's dark, either the IR LEDs will light up, or (if color nightvision is enabled) the spotlight will come on. Both will reflect off the window.
Simplest option is to mount the camera outside.

If outdoors isn't possible for any reason, you can turn off the night vision lighting in the camera settings. Go to Night Vision and move the toggle to Off.
