I have the VMB3500 Base Station with my 3 Arlo cameras configured. When I opened the iOS app one day, I got the prompts that it was checking for any Firmware updates. When it was done the app acted as if I was setting things up for the initial time and prompted me to sync my cameras. Fortunately I was at the home where Arlo is setup so I unplugged the Base Station and then plugged it back in. Once the Base Station initialized it brought up the system as it was configured with all the cameras, local and remote, and all was OK.

In the future if this happens again and I am at another location, should I do a RESTART for the Base Station listed under DEVICES once I open the iOS app?

Hey @jhex7000,

It never hurts to restart your Base Station if you're not near the Base Station.
