Shorten charger cable

I just ordered a set of Essential 2k cameras with the solar panels. I believe the cable is either 6 or 8 feet out of the box. Is there a way to shorten it without compromise? Some of the panels will be mounted right next to the camera and do not need 6’ of wire.

Nope. Use the strap that comes with the panel to wind up the extra cable and keep it bundled.
