I use Safari as my preferred browser, but when I try to log in to arlo.netgear.com i just get a page with the arlo bird logo with flashing WiFi wings, but no actionable buttons. The rest of the page is blank.
When I open the page with firefox, there is no problem.
Does anyone know some way to configure Safari to get the page to work?
thx- k1p

I have this issue too. Firstly let me say I am not an idiot. So JamesC, please only conrtibute if you have something useful to say, and can avoid being patronising, condescending, or stating the obvious. I am posting this from Safari on El Capitain, on the same computer that when I go to https://arlo.netgear.com all I get is this:
The wing is animated but no matter how long I wait, nothing else happens. The sign in page never arrives. Yes, I can access the internet. Otherwise I would not be able to post this. I can sign into this community site. I have flash enabled. I have refreshed / rebooted / restarted / cleared cache etc.
Using Safari's debug console I see this error:
[Error] SyntaxError: Strict mode does not allow function declarations in a lexically nested statement.
(anonymous function) (index.min.js:15)
[Error] Error: [$injector:modulerr] http://errors.angularjs.org/1.4.7/$injector/modulerr?p0=arloApp&p1=%5B%24injector%3Anomod%5D%20http%...
nrWrapper (arlo.netgear.com:2:14965)
So it would appear there is a javascript error in the code which only Safari objects to.
This has been going on for a couple of months now, hopefully somone from Netgear will see this and apply a fix.

Usu it's a FLASH issue... either you don't have it or it's not turned on ( as many browser do now default it off )
Also, isnt Safari on IOS... if so use the app for that OS

thx TomMac. flash is on and current. phone app works fine on my Apple ios iPhone.
just can't get an active page with Safari. Not a huge problem because it works fine woth Firefox, just a small nuisance to have to switch browswers to log in.
Mainly I'm curious as to the why

No one says anyone is an idiot. The problem is that we never know who has what experience nor what they are experiencing or have tried. Way too many folks post here without all the appropriate information and then whine about being told to start with the basics. And then there's all the possible combinations of hardware, OS and software which not all of us have access to. Without knowing what changes you may have made to any settings anyplace or what a new update of any software has changed (the recent disabling of Flash in the various browsers is a great example), all we can do is guess - and start with the basics. Also, folks seem to not want to read and search for existing solutions and will ignore those solutions that are posted right above their new post. You think you're frustrated??

Thx T9001 for that sleuthing. Sounds to me like the javascript issue is the culprit. I also discovered that Safari has disabled flash "for security reasons" so TomMac may be correct too.
Appreciate the feedback.

jguerdat, that wasn't directed at you. As far as I know, your posts have been constructive and helpful. I see other people that manage to ignore most of the questions in a thread, and wait until someone asks something that can be replied to with a stock answer. That's what irritates people...
I did search for a solution, found threads on this that had been closed with no fix, so replied to this one. If someone from Netgear would like my specs I'm happy to provide them, but simply put it's the latest El Capitain with the latest Safari.
