Ridiculous login verification

I was logged out of Arlo door bell app. When trying to log back, it asked me to get verification code via email. When switched to email app to get the code and come back to the app, the verification process starts over again. I tried 10 times, just feel like chasing my tail. Soon it exceeds the limits. When trying different verification methods like phone, it says the method was removed and I was stuck with email. How am I supposed to log back? Do I have to use two devices or this is a bug?

I've sometimes seen that, even though the app is trusted on my phone.  You might try restarting the phone, and see if that resolves it for you. You can also try logging in while near a PC - and use the PC to access the email and read the code.

 

Once in, you can add SMS verification, which would give you another option.  Text messages often show up on the phone screen without needing to switch to the messaging app.  Also, double-check that the phone is still trusted.
