I have replaced the batteries in my Arlo and it is still saying to replace the batteries.  Do I need to resync?

Hi Ron,

Did you replace with OEM or recharcheable batteries?

If OEM, I'd take an ohm meter and verify they are good.  May have been an old or bad batch.

If rechargeables, check to see what voltage rating are they?  The rechargeables that work are 3.7v.

Hi Robert- what brand of 3.7 volt rechargeable do you recommend? I purchased tenergy 3.0 and they are not working properly . Also, will I need a new charger, or will the tenergy one suffice?

Currently TomMac has finished testing TangsFire and I would recommend those for now.

I am almost finished testing EagleTac's and really like them alot.  I'm on the 45th day today on them, with an average daily usage of 6.82 minutes on best video.  I am hoping for 5 more days worth of use.  I'll let you know if it makes it.

From all I have read here, the Tenergy's either work or don't work for our cameras and if they do work, they don't last long.

Thanks for the info, am looking forward to comparing your results to his.

I've already wasted >$50 on useless batteries,. The Arlo user guide did not specify compatible batteries , so I assumed any CR 123, 3 volt would be fine. Didn't even think to question or look to the community for advice.

Thanks !
