Reinstallation after deactivation

I deactivated my base and tried the reset by holding sync and reset button back.  I then synced a camera, but I can't get access to the camera on my phone (I reinstalled phone app).

The new SW changed the reset routine... Now just hold in the RESET with a paperclip for about 10 seconds ( till the front leds flash )

It doesn't sound like you're telling the whole story here.  Once reset, you have to add the base back into your account.  BTW, a reset using the new firmware (it sounds like you've had the system working before so it should be on the new firmware) is to use only the reset button. Using the Sync button is only for the old firmware.

 

So, once you've added the base back into your account, can you sync the cameras?  If you use a computer browser, does that work?
