Refurbished Add-On Camera Ethernet Cable Supplied Damaged

Beware when purchasing refurbished camera two people spent two days and several frustrating hours back and forth trying to trouble shoot adding to existing system when in fact the Ethernet cable supplied was so bent and crimped then pushed into the box the wire was broken. All of the suggestions to delete, hard reset, factory reset, etc were an exercise in frustration! Yes, we had to buy a cable but the time wasted was even worse.

The lack of the proper Internet LED indication would have been a first clue for us. A quick post might have resolved it quickly and with less pain.
