Hello,

This has been happening the last few months. I think it started with iOS v18 or even in v17 in my 12 mini. I can't remember exactly though. After I edited and saved my downloaded recorded Arlo video recordings (manual and motion detected types) in iPhone's iOS' Photos app, the saved edited video shows an exclamation potion icon on the bottom right and clicking on it says "Unable to Load Video -- An error occurred while loading a higher quality version of this video..." as shown in my uploaded https://matrix.zimage.com/_matrix/media/v3/download/ross154.net/pTNKqtiiqmRvHJatKSLRXWFk/IMG_0310.PN... screen capture/shot file.

The only annoying workaround is to revert back to original, edit the video's length by a second and save it as a new video to edit that new shortened video. Then, I can do whatever without this error. What is Arlo doing with these video downloads from the original Arlo model? I have no problems with Arlo Pro 2's downloaded videos though!

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. 🙂

Did you check to see if you have enough iCloud storage?

I don't use iCloud. Arlo's iCloud is off too. If it was iCloud related, then how come Arlo Pro 2's downloaded videos have no issues?

I had a similar issue when trying to edit Arlo videos a while back, and that was because my iCloud storage was full.  So I suggested checking for that.
