Good evening,
Sometimes out of the blue my arlo base station starts making a very irritating and annoying sound.
It really gives some kind of headache and pain in my ears.
It is a really almost deaf making sound from 100 db orso.
The first time i even couldn't find the device that was making the noise.
And i thought it was my extractor hood, because after i turned it off the sound got away after some seconds.
But today i got that sound again not knowing where it really came from, untill i kept listening really find when found out it was the base station from arlo, when I pulled out the power cable the sound stopped immediately.
Are here other people who have had the same problem?
Or does someone know why it does make that sound?
It really comes out of the blue.

You list a VMB4000 which you do realize has a siren, right? Do you have a mode with rules that trigger that siren? Check even if you think you don't. The siren can also be set off from the app - are you the only one that has access?

i am not aware off an rule that should turn on that siren.
it has done it now i think 2 or 3 times.
not knowing what the trigger was.
I have 2 camera's connected to it nothing more.
And yes i am the only one that have access to the arlo station.
It has no default password etc.
And now i indeed know that the base station has got an siren.
