Am concerned about the potential for outdoor cameras to be disabled by an intruder (in order to comply with the 20' motion detection limit I would need to mount the camera in a location that would be physically accessible to an intruder prior to detection).  Will I receive an alert if the camera is physically disabled?

No, the camera will not issue an alert other than than  the OFFLINE notice when you access the prgm/app.

The best you can do is put the camera up out of reach or look online for a camera cage to mount over it... sometimes when mounting a teather is a good idea so the camera doesn't fall if knocked off a mount. Just have to think about how you would disable it if you wanted and then place to prevent most of these methods.

In the end, locks keep out honest people... and I've had BIG cameras stolen now and then or disabled by paint balls... you can't stop them all, but you can try to prevent most.
