Since the 02/11/2020 (when the whole system went offline and suffered severe battery drain for some reason) one of my two Arlo VMC3030 cameras has suffered malfunctioning Infrared sensors ..

In darkness, when activated the Infrared lights click on/off rapidly, perhaps once a second.  Making night vision viewing useless 😞 The other camera is fine.

No-one has interfered with the camera, it hasn't been dropped - firmware versions on both are 1.6.297, Hardware H7.

Any thoughts ?  Sounds like a sensor has gone faulty possibly but why ?

Cheers

Mark

The clicking is likely the IR filter switching into and out of the light path. If you are still in the warranty period, you can get it replaced. Waiting for a long time before raising the issue with official support risks the warranty running out, leaving you in the lurch.
