Before  you toss out  your replaced arlo batteries you should test them for power under load.  I tested a bunch of CR123's batteries with a ZTS PULSE LOAD MULTI - BATTERY TESTER before throwing them out and discovered some batteries still had 80 - 100% charge. Could save you some money! Just a Thought!

The 123 cells when new are 3.2v ( tho labeled as 3 )... the Arlo cameras consider them dead at just about 2.75v.

 

If you are finding 123 batteries that have a higher voltage reading, it may be the batteries not sitting in the camera correctly.

The arlo cams use 2 sets of 2 cells in parallel.  If one set doesnt make good contact, the cam can run on just one pair for a shorter life..then the battery may still read as good
