one of my arlo cameras doesn’t record and I cannot figure out how to find the model to troubleshoot. I’ve already removed the device and reconnected but it didn’t work. Do not all of the cameras record? My other is just fine so shouldn’t be a subscription issue.

If the battery can be removed, then you can remove the camera from the housing and then take out the battery.  You'll find a label there.

If the battery cannot be removed (Essential cameras) then there is a faint label around the charging port.  It is small, and low-contrast - so it can be hard to see.

You can also go into the support center in the app (selecting the camera)  Scroll down until you see the produce details, and you will find the model there.

Not a guarantee.

Do you have a subscription?  If thiis is a new install, did you check that the camera is still in the subscription plan.
