No Notifications at Night?

Just installed the system yesterday.  We get lots of notifications during the day specific to movement however, we don't get them at night.  Is this system setup to video/notify at night?

Was the system ARMED during the night??  Are you running on a schedule ??

 

Also what type of movements in the day...cars ??   Cars will reflect a large amount if IR which is picked up by the sensor... at night with a lack of, a person may have to be less than 20 ft away to set it off.
