New app scheduling

I have 7 cameras and on the old app I had 3 different time settings with various cameras turning  on.it was easy

Now with new App I want some cameras on 9.30pm to 6.00am

Some 6.00am all the day and some 11.00pm to 6.00am

I've read and watched but cannot work it out

Any help please?

I don't quite understand this. 

What do you mean by "6:00 am all the day"?

• Armed all the time
• Armed from 6 am to sunset?
• Something else?

Are all the cameras armed between 11 pm and 6 am?

Also, I am thinking "all day" means "all the time" (day and night).  Is that correct?

This would be a bit easier if you armed the 7th camera at 9:30 pm.

To do what you want, you need use all 3 modes:

• Set up Arm Away to arm all cameras
• Set up Arm Home to arm the 6 cameras you want armed at 9:30 pm (removing the rule for the 7th camera)
• Set up Standby to arm the 3 cameras you want armed 24x7 (only rules for those cameras)

Then create three schedule automations.  These should be always enabled.

• One to switch the mode to "Standby" at 6 am
• One to switch the mode to "Arm Home" at 9:30 pm
• One to switch the mode to "Arm Away" at 11 pm

If you want to disable the schedule (for example, when you travel), you can manually put the mode in "Arm Away", and disable the three automations.  Then the cameras will be armed 24x7 until you re-enable the schedule automations.
