I am extremely disappointed that Arlo’s new app effectively removes proper multi-location functionality unless you pay for a separate subscription for each location.

For customers with more than one property, this feels like a penalty for being a loyal and larger customer. Instead of rewarding customers who have invested in more cameras, hubs, and subscriptions over time, Arlo now seems to be charging extra just to keep using a feature that was previously practical and important.

This is not an improvement in customer experience. It feels like a pricing model designed to punish households with multiple homes, offices, or properties.

Arlo should rethink this policy and offer fair support for multi-location users under one account without forcing additional subscriptions for every single site.

Very dissatisfied.

I think there are some other aspects.  One is that the model creates a barrier for multiple households trying to share a single subscription.  But I think there should be some re-consideration here, given the subscription costs.

FYI, after custom modes are fully rolled out there will be some improvement here (though I think geofencing will still be a barrier).
