Netgear should consider implement Skybell's lag between detect and record handling

The lag time between detect and record on Arlo can be really long. Sometimes a recording can totally miss a deliver guy walking from the road to my front door. The distance from the road to my front door is like 3-4 cars length. Sometimes it starts to record like a car lenght away from Arlo.

I have a Skybell HD and it used to have a very similar issue. It only started to record after a deliver guy walked away. However, the new firmware they updated like 2 months ago that changed the behavior. The logic looks like it detects earlier, but the later motion is the key to tell the cam to keep recording or stop then ignore what is recorded. Now it can always record the full motion of walking toward to the front door then walking away. I guess this way may use more battery.

Make sure motion is across the FOV, not directly at the camera. Post screenshots for suggestions.
