Need help setting automations please. When I set it on Arm Home I would like Arm Home to be on from sunrise to sunset every day. This will be used 90% of the time. When I travel I would like to put it on Arm Away and would like Arm Away to run 24/7. I have a college degree and feel like I am trying to do advanced physics in another language…. Thanks

- go to Routines, click on Automations at the top and lastly the "+".
- Choose Add Schedule.
- Give it a name
- choose the days for it to be active and then Sunrise.
- For Then Do This, click on the "+" and choose Arm Home.
- Save
Create a second schedule. This time choose Sunset and Standby. That's it.
You can set up geofencing to automate when you travel by following the same procedure as above.
- choose Add Arrive/Leave.
- Give it a name such as Leave.
- Click on Edit Geofence and make sure your location is correct - if not, type in your address completely.
- Click on Anyone Arrives, even though you're setting up Leave, and then When All Leave.
- If you just have the one phone, that's all but if there will be more than one person involved, select the appropriate phones. Be sure to save.
- Finally, Add an Action to change to the Arm Away mode.
Do the same thing for Arrive but make sure you use If Anyone Arrives and select the phones along with changing the mode to either Standby or Arm Home, as you wish.
