My camera is in our courtyard, I get video of people leaving, but not of people arriving. Very Strange, we have the basic Arlo camera.

I see two problems:

1) The camera view is a bit high - rotate the camer down a bit.

2) The motion is pretty much directly AT the camera. PIR detectors work best with motion ACROS  the FOV. This is spelled out in the FAQ mentioned above.
