My arlo setup worked for several years with no issue. A couple of months ago base station went offline. Removed it - did factory reset and tried to setup up again. But base station cannot be found. I thought the base station was broken so I ordered new one. But the problem is the same - cannot discover it.

After factory reset I have 2 green leds flashing and I can see on my router base station indeed is connected.

WHat model is the new one? Another VMB3000? If so, those haven't been sold new for a long time so yours may be used.  The original owner would need to have removed it from his account for you to be able to claim it.

After a reset (hold the button for >10 seconds until the LEDs flash amber) the LEDs should be green for power and Internet and solid amber for the Camera LED.

You are good 🙂

Indeed looks like my "new" VMB3000 base station must have been registered already and blocked. Even though it has a new protective plastic still on...

So I connected back my old base station and repeated the 10 sec reset and addition with a computer connected with a cable to the same router and it worked!

Thanks for your help jguerdat!
