My arlo modem is hooked up to the ethernet but does not recognize or light up the 2nd light.

Why does my Arlo tower says no connection, but its hooked up to ethernet?

I think the OP is referring to the Internet LED not being lit. That means the base is not connected to the router. Make sure the cable is fully seated on both ends. If still bad, try using a different port on the router. If still no good, try a different Ethernet cable.

Can you give is a bit more detail?

What "light" are we talking about?

And what is this "modem"?

What is the "tower"? That's not a word that Arlo uses. Is it the base station or "hub"? If so which one?

Where does it say "no connection".

Arlo lights work though a "bridge" that connects to your local wifi.

Documentation for the Arlo lights is here:

Arlo | Support | Arlo Light

Maybe it is some other light. Just let us know what it is.
