My Arlo base station is offline; how can I troubleshoot it?

Cannot communicate with base station, the only light on is an amber power light. cycled power and checked internet connection still no communications.

The amber power LED is the issue. Unplug the base and try again - it has to be green or all bets are off. If still no good, you can try a reset using the reset button until the LEDs flash amber, about 10 seconds or so. If that fails, too, either swap the system at the store or open a case with support using the Contact Support link at the bottom here.
