Motion Sensitivity at night

This evening I noticed that two out of my four cameras were not detecting motion at night.  Only when I introduced an artificial light source would the cameras detect motion and emit IR.  This has never been an issued until the other night (at least that's when I first  noticed it)

I cleaned the lens and rebooted each camera by removing the batteries for at least one minute.  This has not solved the problem.

Recently there has been a temperature change 15-20 degree increase in outdoor temperature.  It is now currently 45 degrees outside.

Other than a recent temperature increase and a software update (my app on my android does not work correctly now), there have been no other changes.

Any ideas?

Could be temperature but I get nighttime detection at over 20 feet without additional lighting. Has your positioning changed some, perhaps from changing batteries?

I've had my cameras for about a week now and everything was working great up until 2 days ago. The motion detection works periodically during the day and not at all at night now. I've tried adjusting the sensitivity but still nothing. Any ideas??

Mattic419,

It could be the location of the camera that is causing the issue. If you have more than one camera, a good test can be done by swapping locations of the affected camera with a camera that is behaving normally. This will let you know if the location is the cause of the issue.
