Hey guys so i set up my mount this morning and i checked my camera just now and it has slid down the ball and is currently pointing at the ground. After checking in during the day i noticed the view was slowly sliding down. The mount it on the wall and the camera was coming off looking parallel with the wall. The camera moved down and is now looking straight at the ground (gravity) does anyone else have this problem or a fix for it? I think my best bet is just to ditch the magnet and go mechanical

The magnetic mounts work via a strong magnet and a textured, somewhat sticky surface to prevent exactly what you're experiencing. Sounds like one or both are off somehow. Tommac has used a small piece of balloon to help but a different mount may be the better solution.

I wonder if you used the older Vuezone mounts which had a smooth finish??? The newer Arlo's have a grain finish to stick better.

One thing as J mentioned... I took a dime shape size of an old rubber ballon, stuck it on the mount ( older vuezone ) and then used the Arlo cameras... that fix any sliding on the older mount.
