I cannot get the cameras to live stream to our desktop PC.  I have opened ports 80 and 443 on both the PC and the router and have the latest version of Flash.  Using Firefox browser.  Windows 10.  Motion detection is fine.  Live Stream on the phones is fine.

Clearly, I am not the only person having this problem, and yet it seems some people can get them to live stream.  What do I need to do to make these cameras live stream to my PC?

pauran,

Have you tried a browser other than FireFox on the PC (Chrome, IE11)? Some users have had issues with security/virus protection software, consider disabling any you may have and try live streaming again to further isolate the issue.

My thoughts, from my own personal experience, is it's wifi!!!

I've had the same issue and you only really notice it because your looking at the monitor waiting for a response from the camera and you don't get it, because the line of communication is marginal between the base and cameras.

Everything at all other times seems to work correctly, because you don't actually see the long lag times in communication, it can take all the time it needs to communicate, but it's when your in front of a phone or monitor, that you actually see the time outs and can't connect warnings.  Once a clip is in the cloud, your system is out of the loop, your actually working with Arlo's servers at that time.

If you move your base station around considering it like a pair of old rabbit ear antennas, by turning it, or raising or lowering it, I'm sure you'll find the live streaming request and response much quicker and more reliable.

Might be worth the effort and who knows, it might help, it did for me.
