Limit motion detection alerts

Is there any way to limit the time between motion detection alerts?  I have a camera in my patio that I don't need constant motion detection notifications from.  It is a fairly high traffic area and constant notifications with video is not needed.  I would like to set it so it only records motion like 10 to 15 minutes after the initial motion is recorded.  This way I don't have 35 15 second videos of my dog scratching herself in 45 minutes.

Nope. Perhaps repositioning the camera to avoid the dog might be a possibility?
