Yesterday there was a burglary at my office. One camera is placed outside the entrance door and another camera is placed inside the office looking at the entrance door.

Both cameras are on the same schedule but there are only recordings from the camera outside the entrance door, nothing from the the camera inside the office. Is only one camera recording at a time?

I sometimes have all 4 of my cameras recording at the same time

Thank you for the reply!

Is there any good explanation why not both cameras are recording when they cover the same motion object?

Since the PIR motion detection system used by battery operated camsis poor at motion directly into the cam but good for objects moving across cam, could that apply to your situation?

Maybe, I'll try to place the camera in another position.

you might want to do as I do and create a rule in a custom mode (see FAQ on modes) where camera B was badly located to detect motion but cam A was, so I created a rule that when cam A detects motion it starts recording both cam A and cam B
