I received a text message that stated "Your Arlo Safe code is [ actual safety code]". I do not have an account with Arlo, have never done business with Arlo, have never given Arlo my phone #, and until signing up for this lame community, have not given my e-mail address to Arlo. The message was from 833-909-3184. When this happened, I went to the Arlo website and tried to contact Arlo support. Ha. Using Google, I confirmed what I had already learned, You have no published phone number, or e-mail address, and your chat is completely automated, could not understand my issue, and refused to connect me with a human agent. I have now done my due diligence in trying to contact you. I will keep a very close eye on my credit card accounts in the future. This company's approach to support is horrible. There is no way that I will actually do business with Arlo in the future.

Sounds like you got spanned by someone other then Arlo since you never had an Arlo account if your post is accurate. I never saw that wording in an Arlo Text. Even with 2FA the code is not from a phone number text.
