Installation of VMC3030

I got a VMC3030 Arlo Camera. Having trouble in setup from mobile app. 

1. Does this model need base system ?

2. Share the steps to Installation this camera ?

3. Can we get alert msg if connect to different network ?

The VMC3030 requires a base station or smarthub, it cannot connect to your home wifi.
