I do not have the box nor any instructions that came with my system.  I bought it last fall but have had to wait until now to install it.  I figured I could go to the Arlo website to figure out how to install things, but the videos I found there are about some other system.  My base station is round, not oval like the ones in the videos.  Should I proceed as they instruct, even though I'm dealing with something different?

The round base is the VMB3500, which replaced/supplanted the VMB3000. Functionally they're identical so the instructions are the same. Claim the base first using the app or a browser and then sync the cameras. Note that you don't have to use the app/browser for the syncing m- just briefly press the sync button on the base - don't hold it for 2 seconds - and then a camera sync button. Repeat until all cameras are synced and firmware is updated.
